Christmas Joy

The Most Wonderful Time of the Year--don't you agree?

Love Christmas and everything about it. But Christmas with my Crew and Collins is magical and perfect.

I was lucky enough to still be pregnant with baby three and enjoy this holiday season with just our family of four before we become a family of five. I am excited to have the baby but was really wanting to close off the year in this stage of our family.

Christmas Eve I was able to get a couple good pictures of these cuties before we headed over to my family's for the evening.

Christmas Eve we made cookies for Santa--that were delicious and Santa ate all of them. Yum!

Snapped a quick family picture at my parent's house.

Crew helped Grandpa build the fire.

Crew and Eli sat with Grandpa while we read the story of Christ's birth in the book of Luke.

Christmas Pajamas from Grandma and Grandpa.

Our half decorated Christmas tree (which will be on display next year too) and the presents set out for Christmas morning.

I absolutely love setting the present out on Christmas Eve. I love adding the final touches of ribbons and tags and then arranging the presents under the tree. I look forward to it all day.

Pure Joy seen on their faces as they opened their presents.

Collins' face says it all. So much animation from this sweet girl.

Collins didn't put her phone down all morning. She just kept saying "hiii".

Crew asked Santa for Octonauts and a little Woody the Cowboy. Do you think he was just a little excited when he opened it?

Collins got a Wagon from Santa. Crew pulled her around the house and she loved it. Hopefully we can get some good use of this thing when the weather warms up.

After Christmas morning at our home, we went and visited our families in the afternoon, and ended the evening watching Planes, purging out old toys to make room for new toys, and then playing with all of our new toys.

Polar Express

We took our kids on the Heber Creeper Polar Express, along with all the Nelson family. The kids loved it and there was such a wonderful Christmas Spirit about it because all the kids believed in the whole experience.
