We took our kids on the Heber Creeper Polar Express, along with all the Nelson family. The kids loved it and there was such a wonderful Christmas Spirit about it because all the kids believed in the whole experience.

Riverwoods at Christmas time
Our favorite place to visit Santa is at Riverwoods. We love the lights, music, carriage rides, chocolates, hay rides, and of course seeing Santa. Who, we all think is the real Santa.
This is one of the first Christmas activities we do to jump start the season.

July 4th and 24th
4th of July
We started renting a blow-up water slide on the 3rd of July to celebrate with the family. The cousins love it--except for Crew. His first time down he wasn't so sure.
The second time was better.
I think Adam and Crew are making the same face in this picture.
After the Freedom Festival Parade in Provo on the 4th we came home, took naps (wahoo!) and then cooked up a BBQ and lit some sparklers.
24th of July Pioneer Parade
Our neighborhood puts together a fun morning on Pioneer Day.

Easter 2013 was a success. Crew loved all the Easter traditions from Easter Egg Hunts, to dyeing the eggs, and then eating the candy--of course. The weather was gorgeous and we enjoy the day in the sun.
We started our Easter Weekend with a neighborhood Easter egg hunt. Adam got volunteered (by me :-) very typically of me) to help hide the 2,000 or so eggs that were brought in from the kids in the neighborhood. Crew couldn't wait for the hunt to begin and he successfully got a basket full of eggs.
The Easter Bunny made a grand appearance and Crew loved him.
Saturday Afternoon Crew and Adam went to the Mariners vs. Rockies Major League Baseball game while I ran errands.
Then in the evening we went to my parents' house and dyed Easter Eggs.
Sunday morning Crew woke up and followed the Easter Bunny's trail find to his Easter basket.
I kept asking Crew what he wanted the Easter Bunny to bring him. And it was always the same answer, "golf clubs". I guess when we lost, or broke, his last set last summer he knew he wanted new ones. Smart boy. Every time he got the ball in the hole he would make a crazy pose and then look at himself in the mirror. Seriously, this kids makes me laugh all day long.
Collins eventually woke up and joined us
After Church family photos (golf clubs included)
After church we went back to my parents' house for dinner and our last Easter Egg hunt.
I think Crew got tired of me taking pictures because he started yelling with annoyed frustration "cheese"when I tried to take his picture. You can see almost hear him saying it with annoyance in this picture.
Happy Easter!
