Valentines is a great holiday. I love it even more now that I get to celebrate it with Adam. We enjoyed a wonderful Valentines day together. We started by going to the gym together to get our selves looking good for the cruise. Then we both ran some errands. When I got back from my shopping I answered the doorbell to find Adam holding these beautiful flowers and Sees Chocolates. Adam was really creative to ring the doorbell instead of just placing the flowers on the counter. It was really cute to answer the door and see him.
Adam got a warm welcome when he came home to our front room that I had heart attacked for him. Later on in the evening he opened his gift of new sweats and a shirt. I think it would be a fun tradition to start giving pajamas on Valentines. It is a day for cuddling and everyone wants new pajamas to cuddle in and watch a cute movie--right.
We went to a movie (he is just not that into you) before dinner and we both felt like it was just and okay movie. We liked the side story of Jennifer Aniston and Ben Afleck but the other stories were not as interesting. Either way it was fun to see a movie together.
Then I made dinner for two.
I made Chicken Cordon Blue, gravy, rolls, greens sauted in soy sauce and butter, with a fruit side of red D, Anjou pears. I go the recipe for the Chicken Cordon Blue from All Recipes.com. If you decided to make this be sure to read the reviews. They have some great suggestions.
After Dinner Adam and I made a bed of quilts and pillows in front of the tv and watch a movie while finishing off our Valentines evening with this Death by Choloclate dessert. Delcious.
Happy Valentines! I hope you enjoyed your day as much as we did ours.
