Lady in Red

I seriously can't get over how cute Collins is. Her cute walk accompanied by her sweet smile is so dang lovable. She is my little lady in red. 

We ended up matching on Christmas Sunday as I sported my 38 week baby bump.  

It was a Fun Night

We had a fun night at our cabin in Sundance with some close friends. It is a night worth remembering and glad we got some pictures/bloopers of the fun. 

Polar Express

We took our kids on the Heber Creeper Polar Express, along with all the Nelson family. The kids loved it and there was such a wonderful Christmas Spirit about it because all the kids believed in the whole experience. 

Collins 1st Birthday Party

We celebrated Collins' 1st Birthday with presents, cake, and family.  Even with her long brown hair hanging in her eyes, she somehow still managed to gaze at the balloons and find her presents right away when she got into the family room upon waking up that morning. She was so cute and would hug  her gifts or get really excited and wave her hands and clap.  

 In the afternoon, I took both Crew and Collins out into the snow storm to see the doctor for a well-check since they both had crummy colds and coughs. Then in the evening we had all our family over for cake and ice cream. Collins' wasn't that into eating her cake but she loved squishing it in her fingers and hair. 

Love my little girl and her smiles and personality that are constantly keeping me smiling and busy. This past year has gone been quickly and at times I felt like my third pregnancy has definitely been a factor in the pace of the passing year. But as I look back on the year since I was in the hospital with Collins' as a newborn baby I realize that we filled our days with so much growth, laughter, and fun. Some days were harder than others (especially when I was sick during the first trimester). I am so blessed to have Collins as my daughter and to enjoy every day with her. 

Riverwoods at Christmas time

Our favorite place to visit Santa is at Riverwoods. We love the lights, music, carriage rides, chocolates, hay rides, and of course seeing Santa. Who, we all think is the real Santa. 

This is one of the first Christmas activities we do to jump start the season. 

One Year Already

Collins turns ONE YEAR today. I can't believe how fast this year has gone and how fast she has grown up with the passing year. Collins is my sweet baby girl. Sometimes I look at her and am still amazed that (A). I have a baby girl, and (B). That she is everything is ever wanted in a daughter. 

She is all smiles and willingly gives them to everyone

She is curios and determined to get to places or toys she wants

She is WALKING!

She is constantly moving. Non-stop feet kicking, hands reaching, or walking around

She is currently a mommas girl, but only says "dada"

She loves her bottle

She sleeps great, probably because she is constantly moving that when she finally does sit still for more than 5 minutes she falls asleep

She loves to play with Crew and his toys

Refuses to eat baby food (shakes her head "NO") and only like to eat solids

Has four teeth and the cutest little gap in her top teeth

Likes to pull her diaper off and grab a wipe to help me change her diaper

Holds my phone up to her ear and loves to just walk around holding my phone

Waves hello and uses her pointer finger to point at people
