I have been trying to keep notes of Crew's developments and cute words or actions that he does so that I can remember how he was at different stages in his life. He is talking all the time and says funny sentences. He keeps me laughing and moving each day.
At Crew's 2 year check up he we practically off the charts in every category. The doctor predicted he would be 6'2"--same height as his daddy.

When I asked Crew what he wanted for his birthday he said, "semi-truck and cars." then he followed it up with "buy it".
The other day when I was driving Crew looked at the moon and said, "Moon. Stuck. Mommy get it." Then I said "should we give it a hug"?
Crew said, "Yes, and a kiss".
During co-op last week I was watching 7 addition children. Crew felt a little overwhelmed so he came to me and said, "shy". It was really cute. I had to sit with him for a bit so he could warm up to all the kids.
If I asked Crew what Lightening McQueen says Crew responds with "Ka-Chow"
Current Obsessions:
Tractors--specifically excavators and dump trucks, trains, cars, Lighting McQueen, Mater, Finn, Disney Movie Cars and Cars 2, Balloons, Helping daddy mow the lawn, bubbles, playing in the water (be it the bath, pool, faucet, or a cup of water), playing with Will, nursery, Dr. Suess books, counting to ten--but often jumps from 3 to 7. Loves to discover his oweies and then has us or himself blow on them to make them feel better. Everything is huge or baby size and he likes to turn the lights on and off now that he can reach the light switch. He must eat, sleep, and play with his cars all-day-long and likes to drive his cars on my window sills. Jumping with two feet together and buckling himself into his car seat or stroller because he wants to do everything on his own. Watching the garbage truck on friday and going on "car-rides" with dad when he comes home from work are some of his recent obsessions.
Foods:
He is a really good eater lately. He eats most veggies but loves almost any veggies (not peppers) if he can dip it in ranch. We eat a green smoothie almost every morning and he will eat any pancake/waffle/crepe/ect... as long as there is syrup on it. He loves berries. I can bribe him to eat more of his food if I tell him I'll give him more berries when he is done. He copies not only what Adam and I eat but how we eat it. Like the other day Adam dipped his toast in his oatmeal so Crew started to as well. Has started liking water more than milk. If I have a water bottle he has to hold it and the cap and i usually don't get the water bottle back because he has poured it out somewhere.
Smart Boy:
He recognizes the streets his grandparents live on and gets so excited when we turn down the street. He recites all his cousins names every day to me. He knows all the Cars car names. He knows the words to "You are My Sunshine", "Popcorn Popping", "I am a Child of God"and now likes me to sing "Nephi's Courage" since we have started reading about Nephi and Lehi in the scriptures. He remembers so much. He knows colors but can't quite identify them. Everything is white or blue. He talks in sentences to me and I love it. Communication with him is so fun.
He is a tender boy and I think it is safe to say he is a momma'a boy.
