Island Park: River

The cabin we stayed in is situated right on Henry's Fork River. The view from the windows looking out across the river is one of serene beauty. We spend the majority of our time sitting on the deck watching the water slowly float by, taking in the smell of pure fresh air, and listening to the kids play at the dock while we eat snacks and treats. I could easily spend more time here every year.

The river is one of the main sources of entertainment for the everyone while we were there. Here is a snapshot of all the time we spent involving the river.

We took Raft Floats down the River

Ryker just head butted Sally, which is why she isn't smiling

The water was cold--but the kids didn't mind

Crew playing with the fish the that the older cousins caught--oops

Watched the Eagle fly over--yes, my picture is totally washed out sorry.

There is just something about being in or watching a river or a lake that just makes you feel good. Four days just wasn't enough.

Next up...Yellowstone

FUN. Sounds so relaxing. I have a cousin named Ryker! That's the first person I've heard named that other than him.
