Bar Cookies

My friend Jamie asked for this recipe so I thought I would post it for all of you enjoyment! These cookies are foul proof and quick to make. They are my favorite!

Bar Cookies

Cream:
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup white sugar
3/4 cup butter
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla

Add:
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
2 cups flour
2 1/2 cups oats
1/2 bag chocolate chips (or a more if you like more)

Directions: Cream the first section of ingredients in a KitchenAid or by hand. Then add the dry ingredients. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. Place the prepared dough in a greased 9 x 13 pan and bake for 15-20 minutes of until golden brown on top (don't be afraid to take it out once it reaches 20 minutes especially if you like it gooey). Let it cool and then cut into bars and enjoy.

Try them and tell me what you think :)
